Rotatad connects to your Google Ads account through the official Google Ads API. It tests every headline, search term and hour of the day against your own results, proposes a change only when the numbers support it, and checks with Google that its edits to your ads actually landed. It can also build a campaign from your website, with every claim in the ads checked against what your site actually says. By default, nothing changes until you approve it.
Not ready to connect an account? Check your ad copy free — paste your headlines and see which lines break Google's rules. No signup; your copy is checked on our server and not stored.
Start from an existing account, or from nothing but your website. Either way, the evidence decides and you approve.
Sign in with Google and grant access. Rotatad reads your campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, search terms and performance: up to 37 months of history on connect, then a refresh every 6 hours.
Give Rotatad a page of your site. It reads it, researches keywords with Google's Keyword Planner, groups them into ad groups, sends each to the most relevant page of your site where one clearly fits, and drafts the ads, keeping only lines your site backs up. You confirm locations, daily budget and maximum bid.
After every refresh, each headline and description is compared with the rest of its ad group, search terms with the ad group they came from, and hours of the day with each other. A change is proposed only when a test says the difference is real, not noise.
Approved changes go to Google through the API and every one is recorded. Edits to your ads, and campaigns Rotatad creates, are read back from Google to confirm they match. You can let routine changes through without asking.
The dashboard shows your campaigns, how each headline is doing, and every proposed change with the evidence behind it, ready to approve or reject. Example data shown.
| Headline | Angle | Impr. | CTR | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 24/7 Emergency Roof Repair | URGENCY | 12,400 | 7.2% | ACTIVE |
| Free Storm Damage Inspection | BENEFIT | 9,800 | 5.8% | ACTIVE |
| Licensed & Insured Roofers | TRUST | 7,200 | 4.1% | PAUSED |
| Rated 4.9 by 500+ Customers | SOCIAL PROOF | 3,100 | 6.9% | PENDING |
Searches for emergency repair and for replacement quotes perform differently (CTR 7.1% vs 4.2%). Proposes a new campaign, created paused, for the emergency searches.
"Licensed & Insured Roofers" has trailed its ad group on two consecutive checks (CTR 4.1% vs 6.2%). Replacement copy is ready for you to review.
"Same-Day Roof Repair" has beaten its ad group for 14 days (CTR 7.8% vs 6.2%) without losing conversions. Adds three new headlines in the same style.
Each kind of change has its own test, run on your account’s own data. Every refresh adds to that data, so a test that can’t decide in a quiet week may decide a month later.
A headline is replaced only when it trails its ad group by at least 15% on two consecutive checks, and never when Google rates it Good or Best. Pausing needs a confidence interval clear of the group average. A winner gets new headlines in its style only after 7 days, and only if its conversions hold up.
New ads are drafted by an AI model, then checked line by line. Anything claiming what your site doesn't say, such as a rating, a founding year or a price, is thrown out, and so is anything that breaks Google's length or formatting rules.
After editing your ads, or creating a campaign, Rotatad reads the result back from Google and compares it with what it meant to do. A change that didn't land is flagged, not assumed. Every change is recorded, and every proposal keeps the numbers that justified it.
Search terms that convert well above their ad group can be added as keywords. Terms that spend without converting can be blocked as negatives. Both use a significance test, on search terms with at least 30 impressions.
Rotatad can propose switching a campaign off during hours of the day that perform significantly worse than the rest, compared hour by hour on your own results.
When the searches in one ad group split into two groups that perform significantly differently, Rotatad proposes moving the better-converting group into a campaign of its own, named for what those searches share. The new campaign starts paused. Once you turn it on, the same searches are blocked in the original ad group so the two don't compete.
Review everything (the default), Routine, Trusted or Full auto, or set each kind of change yourself, per account. Changes made without asking wait six hours and go ahead only if the evidence still holds.
Rotatad connects to your Google Ads account exclusively via the official Google Ads API. We use OAuth 2.0 with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope to act on your behalf. This scope lets Rotatad make changes, so the lists below say exactly which ones it makes.
What happens to your data, in short. The privacy policy has the detail.
You authorize Rotatad through Google's standard OAuth 2.0 flow. Your Google authorization is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We never see or store your Google password.
Your data is never sold or used for advertising. It goes only to the services that run Rotatad, each named in the privacy policy with what it receives.
Every change waits for your approval unless you choose otherwise. Every change Rotatad makes is recorded, and edits to your ads are read back from Google to confirm they landed.
Each account adds its figures, pseudonymised, to one shared pool. A benchmark is the pattern across many accounts, never any one of them: no ad text, no account names, and nothing shown until at least five accounts stand behind it. On by default; off in Settings.
Rotatad is in private beta, and access is by invitation. Leave your email and we'll get in touch. We store your email address and the IP address you sign up from.
No spam, and we never sell your email.
